Made in the USA with Polartec® Alpha® Direct, this sweater is purpose built for stop-and-go efforts, like bike riding, where you need to dump heat quickly. The lofted fibers sit on a super breathable mesh core, keeping you warm without weighing you down. It is also 50% lighter and more compressible than traditional fleece. Weight weenies, read that again.
Originally adopted by thru-hikers, Alpha Direct is so lightweight it almost feels like magic. Unlike traditional fleece, it releases excess heat while you ride and traps warmth when you stop.
